Bibliotecas UNAM 3.0.6

The “Bibliotecas UNAM” application presents an innovative approach to disseminating and accessing bibliographic resources and full-text content, while also providing online library services through the UNAM Library System.

Two main user groups can benefit from this application: members of the UNAM Community (current students and faculty) and the general public. UNAM users have the option to register in one or more libraries based on their enrollment or employment status within the National University. An effective feature of this application is its potential for growth; as more libraries join the initiative, library services will become accessible to all students, faculty, and researchers both from their own libraries and others, all within a single platform.

As of September 2023, the application has integrated 33 libraries comprising 49 collections across 2 General Directions, 3 Faculties, 7 National Schools, 12 Institutes, and 9 Centers.

The current version of the application offers 16 services, which include:
